Role Overview

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a crucial role within Enable, making a positive difference every day in the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but we guarantee that you will be supporting someone who requires help to achieve their goals and outcomes, whatever they may be.

Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role may include assisting them with employment and education, housing support (including budgeting, tenancy viewings, sign‑ups, applying for funding), bill paying, expanding their social networks and connections, and encouraging them to maintain or improve their health and wellbeing.

Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants works collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The Asist Service is a housing support service that works with 16‑25 year olds from various backgrounds. Our primary goal is to help young people source, set up and manage their first accommodation while teaching essential life skills.
