Team Manager, Gap Homes Glasgow Lead Something New. Change Young Lives. Are you passionate about supporting young people to build brighter futures? As Team Manager , you will help shape and develop Gap Homes Glasgow , a pioneering supported accommodation service that provides young people with safe, high-quality homes and the support they need to thrive, grow in confidence, and move towards independence. Based in Glasgow, you will lead a dedicated team supporting young people across a newly developed accommodation service and through outreach support in the community.

About Gap Homes Gap Homes is an innovative UK-wide Barnardo's initiative transforming housing and support options for vulnerable young people. We know that the right home can change a life. By providing safe, high-quality accommodation alongside consistent, trauma-informed support, Gap Homes aims to reduce homelessness, prevent crises, and help young people build stable and successful futures.

The Glasgow Service Located in Maryhill, this exciting new development features four self-contained tenancies designed to provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can grow in independence while receiving tailored support. The service is part of Barnardo's wider supported accommodation network in Glasgow, offering access to established services, expertise, offices, and additional supported housing provision. Alongside accommodation-based support, the team will provide outreach and floating support to young people living in the wider community, helping them maintain tenancies, strengthen life skills, and achieve their goals.

The Opportunity As Team Manager, you will have a pivotal role in establishing and leading this service. Working alongside the Service Manager, you will help build a high-performing team, shape practice, and ensure young people receive outstanding support. You will oversee:
Referrals, assessment and admissions Care planning and reviews Multi-agency partnership working Risk assessment and safeguarding Planned transitions and move-on support Outreach and floating support services Supervision, coaching and development of staff We're looking for a motivated, resilient and compassionate leader who understands the challenges many young people face and believes in their potential. Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.

Annual Leave entitlement for full-time colleagues is 26 days per annum, increasing to 27 days per annum, after 3 years Barnardo's service, 29 days per annum, after 5 years Barnardo's service and 30 days per annum, after 7 years Barnardo's service.
