Wellbeing Worker (Craft Café Govan

Scottish arts charity Impact Arts is looking for a Wellbeing Worker to join the staff team at Craft Café, a much-loved art & creative wellbeing programme for older people in the Govan area of Glasgow.

Wellbeing Worker (Craft Café Govan), Impact Arts 26.25 hours per week (3.5 days) | £26,500 FTE (£18,550 pro rata) | Fixed term until 31 March 2027 with possibility of extension

This is a rare opportunity to join the team of Impact Arts' much-loved Craft Café Govan project, a long-established creative wellbeing programme supporting older people through creativity, social connection and community-based support.

Based at Elder Park Library in Glasgow, Craft Café provides a welcoming and inclusive space where participants can build confidence, reduce isolation, access support and enjoy a wide range of creative activities.

Working alongside the Creative Lead, the Wellbeing Worker will play a key role in helping older people improve their health and wellbeing, maintain independence and connect with local services and opportunities.

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting people, building relationships and creating a positive, engaging environment for members and volunteers alike.

• Providing one-to-one wellbeing support, advocacy and signposting.
• Planning and delivering wellbeing workshops and group activities.
• Welcoming and supporting new members to engage with the project.
• Building strong relationships with local health, social care and community organisations.
• Supporting volunteers.
• Maintaining project records, evaluation information and case studies.

We're looking for someone with experience of supporting people in community settings, facilitating wellbeing activities, and working with older adults or other vulnerable groups.

Excellent communication skills, empathy, organisation and a commitment to improving lives through community engagement are essential.

The role is 26.25 hours per week over 3.5 days, with delivery taking place Tuesday to Thursday and an administration/preparation day on Friday. The salary is £26,500 per annum (£18,550 pro rata for 3.5 days per week).
