The Role
Northwest Partners are proud to have secured SHFA Upstream Homelessness Prevention funding to deliver the North Glasgow Homelessness Prevention Service. This investment allows us to welcome two dedicated officers, who will work alongside every new tenant, who move into our homes, from day one.

Drawing on the success of Maryhill Housing Association's award-winning sustainment service, our Connectors will offer early, compassionate, practical support that helps tenants settle into their new homes with confidence. By being present at tenancy inception, listening closely, and acting quickly, they will ensure that any challenges are spotted early and resolved before they escal, preventing crisis, strengthening wellbeing and reducing the risk of future homelessness.

The role provides early, practical, trauma-informed support that prevents crisis, reduces the risk of homelessness, and empowers tenants to thrive.

Officers ensure every new tenant has a warm, safe, comfortable home, understands their rights and responsibilities, and knows where to access help when needed.

Working alongside the Housing Management teams within Queens Cross Housing Association and Maryhill Housing Association, you will engage with new tenants to help them sustain tenancies, as well as integrate within the community.

This role has a competitive salary banding of EVH Grade 6, PA17 to PA20, £36,517 to £39,921. In addition, you will receive an excellent benefits package, which includes 25 days annual leave (pro rata), 15 days public holiday (pro rata), access to a contributory pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements to support employees with family commitments and promote a positive work-life balance.
