Job Title: Senior Java Developer (Full Stack)

Location: Glasgow or Bournemouth, UK

Work Mode: Onsite – 5 days/week (RTO)

Joining: Immediate

Working Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, solid database knowledge, and working exposure to modern frontend technologies. This is a fully onsite role.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, AWS, SQL, and MySQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Ensure application performance, quality, security, and responsiveness
• Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and implement fixes
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Implement security and data protection best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical excellence
• Support junior team members with technical guidance
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• 9–13 years of hands-on experience in software development
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
• Experience with AWS and SQL/MySQL
• Working knowledge of React.js, Redux, HTML5, CSS3
• Exposure to frontend testing tools such as Jest
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
