Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. Our teams operate within a flexible hybrid working model, with on‑site requirements varying by project. The ability to travel as required to meet client needs is essential; initially you will need to work 1/2 days a week on site in Glasgow.

• Design, build, and enhance modern web applications using React.
• Take ownership of key features and components, working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
• Build reusable components and front‑end libraries.
• Collaborate within cross‑functional agile teams.
• Integrate front‑end solutions with APIs and backend services.
• Improve application performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Review code quality through peer reviews and best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

• Commercial experience developing applications using React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and core front‑end principles.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience using Git and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of debugging, performance optimisation, and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to continuous improvement.
