AI Engineer

Our client is a leading British bank.

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer at our client to develop and implement machine learning and AI solutions that strengthen our ability to detect financial crime, prevent fraud, and safeguard our customers.

Working closely with data scientists, engineers, and senior technical colleagues, you will contribute to scalable ML pipelines, agentic AI systems, production-grade model code, and robust monitoring solutions. You will support delivery across the AI/ML lifecycle—from data exploration and model development through to deployment and monitoring—while working within established governance, documentation, and regulatory standards.

To be successful as an AI Engineer, you must have the following essential skills:

• Strong experience developing scalable, modular, and maintainable Python applications
• Experience developing and deploying well-tested Generative AI applications, using relevant frameworks such as Lang Graph/Lang Chain, Strands SDK, Anthropic SDK, AWS Bedrock, or CrewAI
• Experience in machine learning development, including training, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring models
• Experience with deep learning or NLP frameworks, such as PyTorch or Hugging Face
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and ML lifecycle practices, including MLOps or LLMOps
