*** Hybrid. You will spend part of your week at home, and part of your week in Emirates Area with excellent public transport links and free parking.
** What you’ll do
** As a Sport & PA Development Officer you will play your part in encouraging people to live an active Glasgow life. Through sport and physical activity, we promote inclusion and wellbeing throughout the city and you’ll be an integral part of the team by ensuring the provision reflects the values and objectives of the organisation.
* Developing & delivering the social engagement and participation agenda across the city, linked to the Physical Activity & Sport Strategy.
* Ensure pro-active and complimentary programming across the areas, delivering the most efficient and appropriate programming options for the community.
* Work with colleagues across the areas to ensure engagement with the local planning process and ensuring facilities address local needs.

We’re looking for:
* Professional qualification in sport, play, physical activity, health, education or community development, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Previous experience in development, delivery & management of sports, health & wellbeing programmes
* Evidence of delivering results in relation to targets in the field of sports development & Physical Activity
* Evidence of working with clubs and community groups
* Experience of working with voluntary and third sector organisations
* Experience of supervision and/or developing the skills and capacity of others involved in delivery of programmes
