Class 2 Tipper Driver

Hours: Monday-Friday | Start 06:00 | Finish approx. 16:30 - 17:30

Start Date: Immediate

We are recruiting on behalf of a Civil Engineering contractor working on major infrastructure and construction projects across Scotland. Due to ongoing contract wins and growth, we're looking for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join their expanding team based from Thornliebank. This is a temporary postion that could lead to long term on-going work for the right candidate.

As a Class 2 Tipper Driver you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials to and from site, including aggregates, muck, spoil, and other construction-related loads. You'll play a key role in keeping projects running on time and to specification.

• Operate Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and professionally
• Transport materials between sites, quarries, and landfills
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Comply with all health & safety procedures and transport regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation and driver logs

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Minimum 1 - 2 years tipper driving experience
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Good timekeeping and professional attitude
• Strong knowledge of Scottish road networks

• Monday to Friday
• Start at 06:00
• Typical finish between 16:30 - 17:30

Competitive hourly rates ranging around £15.00 - £17.00 per hour depending on experience and duties.
