Job Description
Location: Glasgow, Cambuslang, United Kingdom
Position: Bulk Driver
Contract: Permanent – 45 hours per week
Salary: £35,900 per annum
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Responsibilities- Drive a Volvo lorry (less than 4 years old) to deliver goods on planned routes, typically 4 to 6 stops per shift.
- Inspect vehicle and trailer daily, completing a defect report if necessary.
- Load and unload cargo (cages, pallets, freight, stillages, and yokes) as required; scan consignments and operate pallet trucks when needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure on‑time delivery to customers.
- Class 1 driving licence.
- Completed the required DCPC training hours or actively working toward them.
- Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Minimum 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
