HGV Class 2 Driver – Stepps – Multi Drop – Ongoing Work - £15.25 - £18.50 Per Hour - Weekly Pay
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an  HGV Class 2 Driver  to join our well-established client based in  Stepps . This is a fantastic opportunity offering  excellent hourly rates ,  consistent work , and  long-term development , making it suitable for both experienced and newly passed HGV Class 2 Drivers.
This role would suit applicants who have worked as an  LGV Class 2 Driver ,  Category C Driver , or  Lorry Driver .

Shifts:

Day shifts with early starts
Pay rate:  £15.25 - £18.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
Delivering products to business customers, sometimes with assistance from a Driver's Mate
Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and careful manner
Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations
Following assigned delivery routes and schedules
Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
Some handball work required
Essential

Skills:

The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Valid UK  Category C Licence
Valid UK  CPC Card  and  Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes)
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations
Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team
Desirable

Experience:

Previous commercial or multi-drop driving experience
Experience delivering large or bulky items
Customer-facing delivery experience
Training Provided:
Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
