Pertemps is recruiting Postal Delivery Driver roles across Glasgow on behalf of Royal Mail, starting towards the end of October. This temporary contract pays £13.69 per hour, offering 30 to 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday with weekend availability required. Shifts fall between 8am and 8pm. Duties include sorting and loading mail at the local delivery office, using a handheld device for signature capture and navigation, and delivering letters and parcels by foot or vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily.
Applicants need customer service skills, physical fitness for lifting mail bags, and the ability to work independently outdoors.

Key Responsibilities- Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
- Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
- Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
- Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
- Use delivery trolleys when required
- Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
- Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
