Stock Controller - FMCG

Our client is a leading food distributor experiencing significant growth and is looking for a Stock Controller to join their busy warehouse operation in Glasgow
.

As Stock Controller, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, investigating stock discrepancies and working closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure stock integrity across the site.

• Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock records within the warehouse management system
• Carrying out regular cycle counts and stock audits
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
• Producing stock and inventory reports for management
• Working closely with warehouse, goods-in and dispatch teams to ensure stock accuracy
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stock control processes
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and food safety standards

• Previous experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or Stock Administrator role
• Experience with in food distribution, FMCG, logistics or a high-volume warehouse environment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• The confidence to investigate issues and work collaboratively with operational teams
• A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
