The Department of Mathematics at Rowan University is hiring an Assistant Teaching Professor to begin on September 1, 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate applied statistics / data science courses such as Probability and Statistics for Computer Science, Basics of Statistical Computing, Probability and Statistics for Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Statistics for the Biomedical Sciences, among other department courses.

• Teach 24 credits over two semesters, with an option to teach overload and summer classes for additional compensation.
• Provide meaningful and substantive service contributions to undergraduate and graduate programs and the department.
• Participate in professional development to stay current in content area and evidence-based instructional approaches.

• PhD in Mathematical Sciences or a related discipline.
• Strong teaching philosophy that emphasizes a supportive learning environment for all students.
• Graduate transcripts (unofficial copies acceptable for initial review).
