Our Electrical and Computer Engineering Department ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) is growing. To support this robust growth, we seek energetic and innovative teacher‑scholars interested in teaching innovative, project‑based courses in the electrical and computer engineering curriculum. Courses may be core or elective, depending on the applicant's area of expertise. We welcome qualified and dedicated individuals with a background in all areas of ECE, including but not limited to:
Core Topics- Digital and embedded systems
- Control systems
- Signal and image processing
- Communication systems
- Electromagnetics and modern antenna systems
- RF / microwave systems
- Power systems, renewable and alternative energy systems, modern battery systems
- Robotics
- Machine learning / artificial intelligence
- Cybersecurity, cyber‑physical systems
- Your favorite emerging topic in any area that relates to ECE
As a department, we greatly value experiential and project‑based learning, integrating emerging topics and technologies into the curriculum, and providing an outstanding state‑of‑the‑art array of equipment and computational resources. Our dedication to project‑based learning is reflected in our curriculum, as all our courses include lab/project components. We seek individuals who share this dedication, possess the skills and passion to develop innovative hands‑on lab projects, and can integrate such projects into the course content.
Qualifications- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Industry and/or academic experience is particularly encouraged.
- Effective communication skills; capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary student and faculty teams.
- Ability to teach in a project‑based environment.
- Non‑tenure‑track, part‑time position with renewable contracts contingent upon performance, including student evaluations, departmental needs, and university approvals.

- Statement of teaching interests, including the list of courses you feel most qualified to teach and your teaching philosophy.

Compensation& Benefits
Adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned by the College & Department on an as‑needed basis.
