Assistant Dean Student Success and Strategic Enrollment, College of Education

Rowan University is hiring an Assistant Dean for Student Success and Strategic Enrollment, College of Education to lead undergraduate student success, recruitment, and retention as a senior member of the college's leadership team. The role builds enrollment and educator-pipeline partnerships with school districts, community colleges, and community organizations. It also oversees academic appeals and probation reviews, runs scholarship awareness campaigns, and tracks enrollment trends to guide strategy.

• Lead strategic enrollment planning for undergraduate, transfer, and educator pipeline programs.
• Oversee undergraduate appeals, petitions, academic exceptions, and grade disputes, and review academic probation and suspension cases.
• Monitor progression, retention, and graduation data and recommend evidence-based improvements.
• Develop partnerships with school districts, community colleges, high schools, and community organizations, including Teacher Preparation Academy recruitment.
• Represent the college at Open Houses, Accepted Student Days, Orientation, and community outreach events.
• Run year-round scholarship communication campaigns and serve as liaison for Scholarship Universe.
• Coordinate student recognition and engagement, including the Student Ambassador Program and the Pinning and Induction Ceremony.
• Hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in higher education, educational leadership, or a related field.
• Bring 5+ years in higher education administration, student success, or enrollment management, including experience supervising staff.
• Earn $88,000 to $100,000 per year, with NJ State health, dental, and retirement benefits, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement for employee, spouse, and dependents.
