This role prepares food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards, ensuring quality service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Prepare high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals or prepare food for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature and appearance.
• Use established ticket collection procedures and maintain accurate records during service periods.
• Clean kitchen after preparation and service, storing or discarding excess food safely.
• Keep refrigerators, storerooms, and kitchen equipment clean and in working order.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, reporting, and ordering of food and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies, food‑handling and safety standards, including HACCP.

• Prior catering or restaurant cook experience.
• Open availability: nights, weekends and holidays for a schedule that varies with business needs.
• Ability to meet the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Rowan University - 201 Mullica Hill Rd, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Pay: $19.75 per hour (current).
