SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Liscio’s Italian Bakery, Inc. is seeking a Line Cook to join our team at our new location. The ideal candidate will have basic food preparation experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety and quality. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are met at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
  • Assist with ingredient prep, portioning, and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Follow all safety and company policies, including proper use of kitchen equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous food preparation or line cook experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Serv Safe certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment is preferred.
