Technical Skills:
- A strong understanding of the monthly closing process
- Financial statements preparation, review, and analysis
- A good understanding of GAAP accounting and the year-end audit process
- Ability to understand business issues and convey solutions to clients
- Direct and mentor direct staff both on-site and remotely
- Support daily accounting operations and provide best practices and process improvements.
What we look for in relevant Experience:
- BA in Accounting
- A minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with non-profit organizations is strongly preferred
- Quick Books Online experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of direct staff management experience preferred
