Pay Range

Overview

The Superintendent II assists the project superintendent in coordinating trade contractors, maintaining high safety standards, and assisting with the quality control process.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates trade contractors to stay on schedule
  • Maintains strict accordance with the contract documents
  • Supports all safety efforts in the field, lead safety orientations
  • Stays informed of all field activities
  • Monitors actual work to maintain compliance for the work plan
  • Maintains daily reports and documentation
  • Enforces safety and quality control policies
  • Attends and participates in project meetings
  • Tracks production as needed
  • Executes self-performing capabilities, workforce planning, and quantifying material needs
  • Handles forecasting as needed
  • Establishes credibility among owners, trade contractors, unions, etc. by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment
Qualifications
  • Experience/

    Education:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; 0‑2 years of experience in a superintendent role on construction projects; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Strong technical and communication skills;
    Excellent organizational skills;
    Ability to work in a team environment;
    Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore;
    Knowledge of construction‑documenting and drawing, with knowledge of all phases of construction;
    Experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control; OSHA 30‑hour certified.

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant.
