Electrical Project Engineer About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to oversee the design, procurement, and construction of electrical systems for large-scale projects. This role ensures systems are safe, compliant, and delivered on schedule. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide technical leadership, support installation, and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.

• Coordinate procurement of electrical equipment and materials.

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Conduct inspections, acceptance testing, and quality verification.

• Resolve technical issues and support construction teams.

• Maintain engineering documentation, including as-built drawings and technical reports.

• Communicate project progress and technical updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within EPC or large-scale projects.

• Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD).

• Knowledge of electrical standards and codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE).

• Experience with power distribution and high-/low-voltage systems.

• Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.

• Ability to travel to project sites (domestic/international).

Preferred

• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

• Familiarity with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project).

• Exposure to renewable energy or automation systems.
