Electrical Project Engineer About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to oversee the design, procurement, and construction of electrical systems for large-scale projects. This role ensures systems are safe, compliant, and delivered on schedule. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide technical leadership, support installation, and optimize performance.
ResponsibilitiesReview and refine electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections, acceptance testing, and quality verification.
Resolve technical issues and support construction teams.
Maintain engineering documentation, including as-built drawings and technical reports.
Communicate project progress and technical updates to stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within EPC or large-scale projects.
Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD).
Knowledge of electrical standards and codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE).
Experience with power distribution and high-/low-voltage systems.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to travel to project sites (domestic/international).
Experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Familiarity with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
Exposure to renewable energy or automation systems.
