Mechanical Engineer About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of machinery, tooling, and automation systems. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver functional, efficient, and reliable solutions across small-scale projects and large production systems. The engineer will ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost objectives while supporting prototyping, manufacturing, and commissioning processes.
ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using 3D CAD tools.
Develop, review, and refine mechanical designs to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration, including automation and controls.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, materials, and fabrication practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production and commissioning.
Maintain design documentation and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for component selection and procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5–10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or machinery.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD).
Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and GD&T standards.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with automation, robotics, or custom machinery design.
Exposure to manufacturing processes, assembly, and testing.
Hands-on experience with prototype development and production support.
