Bridge Design Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise and have over eight years of experience in structural design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage infrastructure projects for a variety of clients, including CDOT and local municipalities.
• Regularly coordinate design efforts across multiple projects and disciplines.
• Prepare Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and contracts.
• Conduct research on local and state regulations relevant to projects.
• Deliver presentations to elected officials and advisory boards; participate in conferences and interviews.
• Perform technical analyses in specialist areas such as load ratings, bridge design, and finite element analysis.
• Oversee project management duties including cost control, budget management, and quality assurance/quality control.
• Supervise and manage the budgeting and execution of projects, including oversight of assigned staff and subcontractors.

Location & Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with office days based in Glastonbury, CT.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• P.E. (Professional Engineering) License in Connecticut is mandatory.
• Preferably experienced with CDOT projects.
• Over eight years of experience in structural engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both written and oral communication.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and produce comprehensive task deliverables.
