Philadelphia Insurance Companies is looking to add a Product Development Manager to join our Compliance team.

• Coordinate and complete new and existing insurance product development projects for Property, General Liability, Auto, Inland Marine, Crime, Farm, Business owners, and Professional Liability.
• Work with functional leaders in Actuarial, IT, Stat, Underwriting and Claims throughout the product development cycle.
• Manage the end‑to‑end product development process, including execution and implementation of product enhancements and new products/programs.
• Prioritize Product Development projects.
• Manage the product development staff by assigning projects and overseeing work efforts.
• Coordinate with other functional areas of the Compliance Department on regulatory matters that impact company independent forms and rules.
• Develop the talent and expertise of the product development specialists.
• Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and adhere to internal company standards.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 10 years of Product Development experience in the P&C industry.
• Five years of Commercial and Professional Underwriting experience, or strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting principles and market trends.
• Management experience required.
• Knowledge of ISO forms, rates and rules, including bureau filings, adoption activities, and system development.
• Familiarity with and ability to interpret rules and regulations outlined in compliance and commercial lines bulletins.

National salary range: $109,400 - $122,300.
