Core Responsibilities- Stocking & Replenishment:
Efficiently unload delivery trucks, unpack merchandise cases, and sort items for the sales floor. Stock shelves, rotating items to ensure older products are sold first (FIFO). - Display Building:
Construct, dress, and replenish promotional end-caps, island displays, and seasonal wings according to corporate merchandising guidelines. - Inventory & Backroom Care:
Maintain an organized, safe backroom and receiving area. Break down cardboard boxes, operate balers safely, and pull overstock back to designated storage locations. - Quality Control:
Routinely scan for expired, damaged, or mislabeled items. Remove substandard products from shelves and document them for processing. - Store Safety & Cleanliness:
Sweep aisles, clear debris, mop spills promptly, and ensure a hazard-free shopping environment for late-night or early-morning customers.
