GLASTONBURY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Glastonbury, CT

NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITIONS:

School Bus Drivers

District-Wide

10-Month Position

Monday through Friday

25-30 hours per week

Field Trip and Charters available between run times and after hours

WAGES:

$28.26 per hour for Fully Licensed Drivers

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus for Certified Drivers

$1,500 Sign-on Bonus for Trainees

BENEFITS:

DUTIES:

Provides safe transportation for students traveling to and from school each day. Also, provides safe transportation for students traveling to athletic events, and other activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

CDL Class B Driver's License, School Bus License, and Airbrake Endorsement required. Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to relate easily and work well with students, the public, and staff.
