The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking an Airfield Civil Engineer I to join our Aviation Practice in Richmond, VA!

Job Summary

You will have opportunities to advance your career as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, or engineering support, depending on experience. You will lead, develop, and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity, initiate and maintain client contact, and assist in winning new work.

Activities include geometric design of runways, taxiways, and aprons; pavement design; stormwater and utility infrastructure design; coordination with airports, airlines, FAA, and tenants; and construction administration/management. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that values your ideas to better serve our airport clients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited ABET university
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, including at least two years in airport design
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain PE license within 6 months
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
