IT Operations Manager

We are seeking an accomplished IT Operations Director on behalf of our client for a Direct Hire, Onsite position located in Glen Allen, VA. This strategic leadership role is critical to driving the efficiency, security, and scalability of enterprise technology operations within a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented organization. The IT Operations Director will serve as a key executive partner, aligning IT infrastructure and operational processes with core business goals to ensure seamless service delivery, operational resilience, and long‑term digital transformation.

The ideal candidate will lead system optimization, manage high‑impact vendor partnerships, and champion cybersecurity, compliance, and business continuity initiatives. • Lead and optimize all facets of enterprise IT operations, including coordination with managed service providers (MSPs) and internal technical teams.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), cybersecurity protocols, and technology roadmap plans.
• Assess business requirements, identify operational gaps, and deliver scalable, cost‑efficient technology solutions.
• Manage key vendor relationships, lead contract negotiations, and oversee IT budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
• Monitor emerging industry trends and proactively implement risk mitigation strategies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity measures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with demonstrated success in managing large‑scale, complex IT operations.
• Proven track record in deploying enterprise systems, with strong expertise in CRM platforms—real estate industry experience is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional project management, strategic planning, communication, and negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset.
