We're seeking a Manager, eCommerce Platforms to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of our global eCommerce ecosystem. This role blends hands‑on technical leadership with strategic oversight to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performing platforms that drive growth and enhance the customer experience.
What You'll Do:- Lead the design and execution of a modern eCommerce platform strategy aligned with company growth goals.
- Oversee platform architecture, integrations, and performance to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Drive innovation through headless commerce, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Partner with IT, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align technology capabilities with business objectives.
- Manage vendors, budgets, and technical roadmaps, to optimize value and performance.
- Mentor a cross‑functional team, fostering collaboration and agile delivery.
- Monitor KPIs and leverage data insights to enhance platform stability, conversion, and ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in eCommerce technology or platform leadership, including 3+ years leading teams.
- Experience with enterprise commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Magento, Big Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Strong background in API‑driven development, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Agile.
- Proven ability to integrate ERP, CRM, analytics, and marketing automation systems.
- Cloud or Agile certifications and/or an MBA a plus.
- Experience in consumer goods, retail or DTC environments preferred.
