MCIM – The Data Center Operating System (DCOS) is a platform that simplifies the complexities of managing a data center by bringing all functions and locations under one intuitive dashboard.

MCIM started with a commission from a Fortune 100 financial institution to create a cloud computing solution for managing their global critical facilities. The team developed the MCIM platform based on the lessons learned from that project.

Today, MCIM is utilized by Fortune 100 and 500 companies in over 94 countries worldwide. This world-class solution is continuously improved through collaboration with users and industry organizations like The Uptime Institute.

We are looking for a skilled Dev Ops Engineer with expertise in AWS and

Salesforce Dev Ops to help us build, automate, and optimize the systems that power our

platform and managed package delivery.

Role Overview

As a Dev Ops Engineer at MCIM, you will play a dual role:

1. AWS Cloud Engineering – architecting, automating, and securing cloud-native

2. Salesforce Dev Ops & Release Engineering – ensuring scalable, secure, and

repeatable delivery of our Salesforce managed package across multiple client

You will work closely with development, QA, product, and security teams to ensure reliable

deployments, automated workflows, and compliance across both AWS infrastructure and

Salesforce product releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure in AWS.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployments using Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, scaling, and recovery of applications.
  • Implement observability solutions (Cloud Watch, ELK/EFK, Prometheus/Grafana).
  • Enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, secrets management, compliance).
  • Own the end-to-end Dev Ops lifecycle for a Salesforce OEM managed package, ensuring secure, reliable, and repeatable delivery to client environments.
  • Design and manage Salesforce CI/CD pipelines (Apex, metadata, packaging) with AWS integration.
  • Define and enforce release governance for Salesforce managed package updates, ensuring compliance with ISV/OEM standards.
  • Oversee Git Hub release management lifecycle: branching, pull requests, release orchestration, and environment management.
  • Manage parallel release processes across multiple product lines and client deployments.
  • Build automation for Salesforce packaging and deployments across 80+
  • Implement automated testing frameworks within pipelines to ensure product quality and security.
  • Integrate Salesforce-native Dev Ops tooling such as Cumulus

    CI or Gearset.
  • Champion security-aware pipelines embedding SDLC security practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of hands‑on Dev Ops or cloud engineering experience with AWS.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Cloud Formation.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation/CDK).
  • Experience in Salesforce Dev Ops including CI/CD pipelines, packaging, and managed package lifecycle.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Dev Ops tooling (Cumulus

    CI, Circle

    CI, Salto, SFDX).
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, Java; Apex/LWC preferred).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce testing frameworks and automation approaches.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, cloud security, and compliance practices.
  • Experience delivering at scale across multi‑environment ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in Salesforce APIs and post‑deployment automation.
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions).
  • Familiarity with Git Ops workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Track record of scaling Dev Ops to support large, complex managed package releases.
  • Experience automating code quality and formatting tools at key points in the pipeline
