Underwriting Support Specialist

Job Description: This role is designed for professionals with proven underwriting support experience who can deliver a higher level of accuracy, consistency, and ownership in their work. As a mid-level role, the Specialist will also take on additional projects, support process improvements, and demonstrate readiness for future advancement into senior-level opportunities.

• Deliver high-quality underwriting support with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Serve as an experienced team member capable of handling complex assignments with minimal oversight.
• Take ownership of additional projects that support underwriting operations and departmental goals.
• Work towards collaborating with Senior Underwriting Support Specialists to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of premium audit experience
• 2+ years of experience in underwriting support, insurance operations, or related roles.
• Proven track record of accuracy, consistency, and quality of work.
• Ability to take on projects and responsibilities beyond daily tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Proactive mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
