THE OPPORTUNITY
The Vice President, Veralto Enterprise System (VES), for Chem Treat is a critical enterprise leadership role responsible for embedding VES as a core cultural and operating advantage across the organization. Reporting directly to the President and serving as a key member of the L1 leadership team, this executive will drive enterprise-wide continuous improvement to accelerate operational excellence, commercial growth, productivity, and sustainable performance.
This leader will own the VES roadmap for Chem Treat — partnering closely with the President and senior leadership to translate strategy into execution through disciplined Policy Deployment, performance management, and capability building. The role requires both strategic vision and hands‑on leadership, ensuring VES is deeply integrated into how the business operates, makes decisions, and delivers results.
Beyond delivering near‑term impact, the VP, VES will build and sustain long‑term organizational capability by developing leaders, strengthening VES talent across the enterprise, and reinforcing a continuous improvement mindset that is foundational to Veralto’s culture and future growth.
Key Responsibilities Enterprise VES Leadership & Strategy- Partner closely with the President as a core member of the L1 leadership team to drive targeted, sustainable improvement aligned to Chem Treat’s strategy, Core Value Drivers, and key performance indicators.
- Own the design, deployment, and evolution of Chem Treat’s VES capability roadmap, including VES certification strategy and long‑term capability building.
- Lead and shape senior leadership operating rhythms, including Policy Deployment reviews and senior operating reviews, ensuring rigor, focus, and measurable impact.
- Serve as the enterprise champion of VES fundamentals — daily management, standard work, and structured problem‑solving — ensuring consistent application where it drives true business value.
- Act as a thought partner to senior leaders, identifying functional and enterprise-level pain points and applying VES to unlock breakthrough performance.
- Build, lead, and sustain a high‑performing VES organization that provides formal and informal coaching, training, and mentorship across the enterprise.
- Elevate VES fluency and leadership capability across senior leaders and functional teams, reinforcing continuous improvement as a core leadership expectation.
- Mentor business VES Leaders and strengthen enterprise‑wide consistency in VES application, certification, and best‑practice sharing.
- Partner with Veralto Enterprise System Office (VESO) and platform leadership on Policy Deployment workshops and enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities.
- Develop and execute an annual VES improvement roadmap aligned to Chem Treat’s strategic priorities, with clear action plans, milestones, and accountability.
- Ensure disciplined execution and sustainment of Kaizen activity, including funnel management, prioritization, leadership engagement, and long‑term results realization.
- Oversee VES certification planning and deployment to ensure Chem Treat develops and sustains the right mix of certified practitioners, trainers, and advanced leaders to be VES self‑sustaining.
- Act as process steward for enterprise improvement mechanisms, including PD matrices, action plans, bowlers, and PSPs, ensuring rigor, resourcing, and follow‑through.
- Regularly engage at Gemba to assess process effectiveness, reinforce standards, and identify opportunities for improvement across operations, commercial, and support functions.
- Lead the continuous evolution of Chem Treat’s improvement processes, tools, and best practices to drive scalable, repeatable performance gains.
- Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Engineering, Physical Sciences, Operations, or related technical disciplines. Business or Marketing degrees also considered.
- Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including VES, Toyota Production System, Lean, and Six Sigma.
