Overview

The Lead has a direct impact on the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. Working closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead serves as the in‑store expert for their department, delivering best‑in‑class customer service and coaching teammates.

Responsibilities
  • Support building and hiring a strong team by attending in‑store interviews and department tours.
  • Build a people‑first culture by connecting with teammates to establish mutual trust and respect.
  • Plan, organize, and control 30‑day operational plans with guidance from the Assistant Store Manager.
  • Leverage teammates to ensure brand standards, programs, and processes are executed daily.
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory, and replenishment.
  • Assist the store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with company policies.
  • Train teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding and cross‑training.
  • Prioritize coaching and development, providing hands‑on guidance and explaining the “why” behind tasks.
  • Lead by example to support the organization’s vision and help teammates align responsibilities with shared goals.
  • Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and safe.
  • Adhere to safety, loss‑prevention, and standard operating procedures, safeguarding confidential information.
  • Take an all‑hands‑on‑deck approach to support the team across the store.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail sales or customer‑focused experience is preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15–35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
  • Ability to work extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
  • Capability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using ladders or platforms.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours continuously).
