Job SummaryThe Patient Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure clinic environment, monitoring exterior doors, perimeter, and parking areas, overseeing the dosing lobby until all patients have exited, responding to disturbances as needed, and upholding professional, respectful interactions with patients and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Security:
Monitor exterior doors, perimeter, and parking areas; oversee the dosing lobby until all patients have exited; investigate disturbances; prepare incident reports; notify management when necessary; ensure security systems and equipment are operational. - Patient and Team Interaction:
Demonstrate hope, respect, and caring in all interactions; uphold the belief that addiction is a brain disease, not a moral failing. - Professional Development and Training:
Attend and complete all required training sessions; commit to continual professional growth and development. - Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accrediting agency standards. - Additional Duties:
Assist with other responsibilities as assigned by management; contribute to a diverse and inclusive working environment.
- 2-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of facilities maintenance or security experience preferred.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong vision, hearing, and communication abilities to effectively perform job duties.
- Periods of high activity and workload.
- Must be able to walk and survey the premises for long durations.
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment.
- Flexible Monday–Friday schedule but would need to meet 36–40 hours for a full-time role. Clinic hours are 5:00 am–1:00 pm.
- Must be able to work Saturday mornings, 6:00 am–10:00 am.
- Potential part-time arrangement if eligible and able to work the majority of Saturday mornings.
- Starting Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour.
