Responsibilities- Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
- Assist dental hygienists during patient treatment progress
- Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
- Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
- Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
- Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
- Associate or certification in Dental Assisting (Preferred but not required)
- Radiology certification (if applicable)
- CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
