Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Aerospace Inspector role located in Glen Burnie, MD. The Aerospace Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of precision‑machined components to ensure they meet engineering specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Maintaining inspection records and ensuring compliance with quality management systems
  • Collaborating with machinists and engineers to address quality concerns and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, with a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications relevant to precision machining.
  • Ability to identify defects, document findings, and maintain detailed inspection records in compliance with quality processes.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail to identify and address process deviations or quality issues.
  • Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality management systems and standards is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑precision manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Technical training or certification in quality control, inspection, or related fields is a plus.
