PreOp PACU Registered Nurse

PT Pre Op PACU RN

Provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Assists physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as appropriate. Delivers comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Min: $39.39 to Max: $47. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current state RN License
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU or ICU
