An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide essential health services in a K-12 school setting during the summer months. This contract position is located in Glen Burnie, MD, where the nurse will support students' health and well-being from Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric nursing setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of health education principles and practices

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the health needs of students
• Provide nursing care for various health conditions and emergencies
• Develop and implement individualized health plans
• Collaborate with school staff to promote health education
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Ensure a safe and healthy school environment for all students
