Inpatient Diabetes & Glycemic Management (Non-ICU)

Hospital-Based | Bel Air, Largo and Glen Burnie | Block Scheduling

Gly Care is a hospital-based group practice specializing exclusively in inpatient diabetes and glycemic management. Our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants provide protocol-driven, evidence-based care to hospitalized adults on Med-Surg and Step-Down units (non-ICU), supported by board-certified endocrinologists.

• Specialty training provided – no prior diabetes experience required
• Predictable block schedules for work-life>
• Full-Time:
  Mon–Wed + every other weekend or Wed–Fri + opposite weekends (≈52 fewer working days/year than a Mon–Fri schedule)
• Part-Time: ~12 shifts/month with full benefits
• Compensation: $128K–$135K base + monthly uncapped RVU bonuses (avg $13K-$28K annually – uncapped)
• 100% employer-paid PPO health insurance (no waiting period)
• $600 annual iPhone stipend + tuition assistance
• Strong mentorship and ongoing education through Gly Care University, on-site training, and structured chart review

• Independently round using standardized, evidence-based protocols
• Manage an average of ~25 patients/day (higher census up to 28–35)
• Participate in rotating, phone-only after-hours call coverage

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license (FNP, AGNP, ACNP, or PA-C)
• Board certified
• Inpatient experience or inpatient RN background
• New grads welcome | DEA not required
• Minimum 1-year contract commitment
