Under supervision, functions as a school nurse providing health services, supervising delegated nursing tasks, counseling, and resource referral to students, parents, and staff during the school year. Acts as liaison between the Department of Health, Public Schools, students, families, and healthcare providers.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution - Experience:
Two years as a registered nurse - License:
Valid Maryland RN license and driver’s license
This full-time position is based at an eligible Title I school, covering extended learning time and school events.
Preferred QualificationsPreference given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, as per Maryland Board of Nursing licensing requirements.
