Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Our Maintenance Specialist is responsible for completing work tickets related to the maintenance of our Bello Machre homes and office buildings. This is a full-time position, generally,
Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm with a one-hour paid lunch break; hours may vary based upon the department's needs. The Maintenance Technician will also get a company vehicle and must be on call 24/7 to field emergencies.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have a current driver’s license with no more than 5 points
• Must have general knowledge and skills with multiple trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)

• Completes work tickets as assigned, providing accurate written information prior to turning completed tickets in for posting by the supervisor
• Troubleshoots basic electrical issues and performs corresponding repairs
• Installs various electrical fixtures
• Performs plumbing repairs such as repairing/replacing bath and kitchen sink traps, fixtures, baskets, hot water heaters, and other related plumbing issues
• Performs basic construction, such as installing various kinds of flooring, drywall removal/replacements & repairs and corresponding finishing, rough and finish trim work, assembling storage sheds, including separate flooring, and painting
• Diagnoses and assists with appliance repairs
  
  Assists with moving household and office furniture
• Conducts snow removal on Bello Machre property, ensuring a safe environment
• Ensures the safety and welfare of Bello Machre's employees and individuals while all repair and construction work is performed
