Maintenance Technician

Overview

Maintenance Technician – Conifer Realty at Marley Meadows Apartments (36 units). IMMEDIATE OPENING. Join Conifer Realty’s growing maintenance team.

• Maintaining indoor and outdoor maintenance and the clean presentation of the community.
• Indoor maintenance includes routine painting, carpentry, drywall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance tasks in response to work orders; prep vacant units for new residents.
• Outdoor grounds maintenance includes trash management, mowing, trimming shrubbery, flower bed care, and snow/ice management and debris removal as needed.
• Timely communication with team members for follow-up on work orders.
• Respond to on-call emergencies on a rotational basis, within 30 minutes of notification; may cover other properties as needed.
• Adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines; overtime as needed.
• Work well independently or as part of a team; take pride in quality work and resident service.

• Minimum 2+ years of apartment or home repair maintenance skills (drywall, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning); HVAC experience helpful or can be trained.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs frequently.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some computer skills for timekeeping, emails, online training modules, and work orders, or willingness to train.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong time management, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Salary range: $20.00–$23.00 per hour. Actual compensation varies based on experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, and other factors. Includes 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holidays, and bonus potential as described.
