Faith Clinical Care Inc. is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD. Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Support clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Implement person centered plan and document progress accurately
- Assist clients with community integration, transportation, and social activities
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs
- Promote client independence, dignity, and self-advocacy in all interactions
- Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved crisis intervention techniques
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications (CMT, DSP) a plus
- Prior experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification
- MANDT and DDA Core Training is mandatory for this role
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Genuine commitment to person-centered care and client empowerment
