Dockworker- Inbound

PITT OHIO Express LLC is a $900 million transportation solutions provider offering supply chain, LTL and truckload services. We are seeking a Full‑Time Dockworker – Inbound to work at our Glen Burnie, MD terminal.

Schedule & Pay

• Tues‑Sat
• 2 AM start time
• Starting hourly rate: $24.99 (top rate $28.05 after 6 months)
• Overtime immediately after 40 hours

• Command of the English language; read, write, and communicate effectively; perform simple math; handle receipts; read shipping labels; follow loading instructions.
• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements, by hand or with hand truck/dolly.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or dock to prevent damage.
• Lift various materials: cartons, bags, cylinders, boxes, crates, drums, pipe, bars, rugs, etc.
• Use material‑handling tools: carts, dollies, pallet jacks, tow motors.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, twist, carry, bend, reach, lift both above and below waist level; heavy lifting required.
• Work safely to reduce personal and coworker risk.
• Comply with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Process all daily paperwork associated with the job.
• Be available and willing to work; exceptions require management approval.
• Work positively, supportively, cooperatively at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Pass a non‑DOT physical examination.
• Consent to a pre‑employment drug screen; negative result required.
• Read and write English and perform simple math.
• Consent to a ten‑year work‑history check; gaps of 30 days or more must be indicated and documented.
• Employment is at‑will.
