Overview
Construction Administrator with a growing painting subcontractor company located in the Western suburbs. This role supports project billing, contract administration, and accounts receivable processes for high‑performance coatings and facility maintenance painting projects.
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year.
Employment type: Full‑time.
- Prepare and process project billing, including AIA documentation and lien waivers.
- Support project managers with contract administration and compliance tracking.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoice follow‑ups and payment status reports.
- Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accuracy of records.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure files are up to date and organized.
- Assist with prequalification paperwork, insurance certificates, and vendor setup.
- Provide administrative support to field and office staff as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in construction administration, billing, or accounting support.
- Familiarity with AIA billing, lien waivers, and construction contract terms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
