Full Time Faculty – Computer and Information Technology (Tenure Track, Fall 2026)
The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago. Our 273-acre campus offers nine associate degree programs and a wide variety of professional and technical certificates that prepare students to transition into baccalaureate programs at higher‑education partner institutions. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollege of DuPage seeks a full‑time, tenure‑track faculty member to teach Computer and Information Technology courses starting in August 2026. The department is looking for IT professionals with teaching experience to support the CIT program in the following areas:
- Cyber Security
- Virtualization
- VoIP or Cloud Computing using AWS and/or Azure
Faculty duties include classroom instruction, assessment, curriculum development, student advising, professional inquiry, committee work, and engagement with instructional technology. Assignments may involve face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended formats during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Positions may not be fully remote.
Qualifications- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science
- Minimum of three years of professional IT experience
- At least one IT industry certification related to the specified curriculum (Cyber Security, Virtualization, VoIP, or Cloud Computing with AWS/Azure)
- Teaching experience with IT classes or technical workshops
