Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm - Location:
Glen Ellyn & Lombard, travel as needed to other sites

- Triage Phone Response:
Manages patient health concerns and symptoms via telephone interaction using physician-approved protocols for assessment and management of a range of symptoms. Provides assessment, patient education, crisis intervention, scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance prior authorization, and reviewing/authorizing prescriptions according to established guidelines. - Patient Documentation:
Maintains accurate and detailed patient records, posts tests, documents patient education, and records all pertinent communications within the medical record. - Clinical Resource for Staff:
Performs and delegates tasks to facilitate patient care, is aware of coding and reimbursement issues, provides assistance to office clinical and non‑clinical staff, assists in orienting and training new staff, and seeks opportunities to improve nursing and leadership skills. - Other Duties as Assigned:
Utilizes current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on patient needs and exemplifying service excellence, care, respect, and cooperation. Acts as patient advocate and first point of contact for patient‑related issues.
- Current RN licensure in nursing.
- Knowledge of nursing skills in accordance with nursing standards in the Nurse Practice Act.
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA.
- Preferred: minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting; new graduates considered under specific circumstances.
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $27.00–$38.90 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
