The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, with a 273‑acre campus that offers nine associate degrees and a wide variety of professional and technical certificates. • Sell alcoholic beverages before, during, and after college events.
• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws, Village of Glen Ellyn and State of Illinois regulations, and BASSET rules.
• Maintain cleanliness of all concession equipment, including coffee makers, ice machines, refrigerators, lobby areas, pantries, and carts.
• Follow the dress code and uphold personal hygiene standards.
• Prepare the sales area for heightened presentation during set‑up and break‑down.
• Transport food and beverages from storage to the sales area, arrange them aesthetically, and remove unsold products to return to storage.
• Restock containers appropriately for each event and account for beginning and ending inventories.
• Maintain accurate concession sale reports and reconcile cash with box‑office attendance immediately after sales close.
• Promote customer service with a focus on promptness, cleanliness, and friendliness to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Lock up and close the area according to prescribed procedures.
• Occasionally work as a food server when required.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Education: High school diploma required; BASSET training required. Preferred: high school diploma plus BASSET training, food sanitation training, or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience: 1 year in concession and/or bar service required; must be 21 years or older. Preferred: 2 years in bar service and must be 21 years or older.
