Customer Service Associate - Temporary

Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

• Model a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain clean and well‑merchandised counters and shelves, take inventory, keep records, and price merchandise as directed.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies, rotate stock using first‑in‑first‑out, and restock items.
• Use store systems and equipment effectively.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and suggestive selling of photo products.
• Assume web‑pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders, pick items, and deliver orders to customers upon arrival.
• Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
