Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Public Storage – Property Manager

Public Storage is the self‑storage industry leader and we are hiring now. Earn $17.25 per hour.

• Flexible full‑time schedules between 9:30 am and 6 pm (weekends until 5 pm)

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of everyday business
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required

• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Walk around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks (sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal)

• Experience
  :
  Successful candidates come from customer‑service‑centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies.
• Transportation
  :
  Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel between locations; mileage reimbursement is available.
